What materials do GroFlo trays use? +
All GroFlo trays are manufactured using food-grade ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) and HIPS (High Impact Polystyrene) thermoplastics. Both are certified food-safe, chemically resistant to nutrient solutions, and UV-stabilised for greenhouse use.
Can you make custom sizes and colours? +
Yes — this is our core speciality. We manufacture any size, shape, colour (RAL or Pantone), wall thickness, drain placement, and cavity configuration. We can emboss your brand logo directly into the tray. Contact us with your specs for a quote.
What is the minimum order quantity? +
There is no strict minimum for standard sizes. We supply small batches for pilot setups through to full container loads for commercial operations. Custom orders may require a minimum production run — discuss with our team at the quote stage.
Do you ship internationally? +
Yes. We ship to worldwide via FCL and LCL sea freight from Mumbai. Air freight is available for samples and urgent orders. We handle all export documentation including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, and MSDS.
What is the difference between Low Rise and High Rise trays? +
Low Rise trays are 1¾"–3" deep — ideal for flood & drain and NFT systems with standard root depths. High Rise trays are 7" deep, designed specifically for Deep Water Culture (DWC) where roots need to grow into a deep nutrient reservoir. High Rise trays are also available with a light-blocking lid to prevent algae.
